The Carillon
The carillon in the Beekse tower consists of 50 beautifully matched bells. This unique instrument was carefully refurbished in 2010. The result is a professional and highly regarded tower musical instrument.
Also renowned is the summer concert series, organized by the Beekse Beiaard Foundation, provided by carillonists from home and abroad. Not only because of the ambiance – around the tower and Vrijthof – but mainly because of the high quality of the concerts. Hilvarenbeek can count this series among its most beautiful cultural events. To be heard from a terrace on the Vrijthof square but better still from the listening place which is located in the green space within the church boundary wall.
