The walls here are 1.5m (4ft 11inches) thick and contain slits for providing light and also for shooting from. In the collection of old tools, we find the crafts related to the construction process of the tower: the stonemason, the bricklayer, the blacksmith and the carpenter. Four showcases display models of old church towers near Hilvarenbeek. The tall beam here is the old kingpost - the vertical beam on top of the spire that bears the tower cross.
